Raw Chocolate Truffles Recipe

My favorite healthy and most satisfying meal delivery in New York is Provenance Meals (use code “Chekmark20” to receive 20% off your order). I’ll never forget having one of the best miso glazed pieces of fish I’d ever had, and it was delivered from these guys. The best part is that all of their dishes are made from scratch, without processed ingredients, and also gluten and dairy free which you’d never know. Cheers to getting healthy without knowing it! Since the holidays are around the corner, and we know that is the dreaded 10 pound weight gain season, try their Raw Chocolate Truffles created by Sarah Hebbel-Stone, a Certified Culinary Nutritionist.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup dried goji berries

1/2 cup raw cacao

5 Tbs hemp seeds

2+ Tbs coconut oil

1 Tbs nut butter

2 Tbs raw honey

2 Tbs ground flax seeds

1/4 tsp sea salt

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

Grind the goji berries in a coffee or spice grinder. Combine all the ingredients with the ground up goji berries and roll into little quarter sized balls. Use a tablespoon more  of coconut oil if they aren’t sticking together well. Roll each ball in the powder left over from the ground up goji berries. Add a dash of cayenne pepper to the powder if you want a little kick! Chill in the refrigerator or freezer before serving.
